Parkinson's Seminar returns for fifth year

All things Parkinson's disease will be the focus of the upcoming annual seminar in Shepparton.
Being held for the fifth consecutive year, the seminar will feature an entire day of discussions and presentations surrounding the disease at the GV Hotel in Shepparton.
GV Health Movement Disorder Nurse Nikki McConnell said the seminar was an informative, community-focused and educational event that brings together community members and health professionals.
"It is a great opportunity to hear from some of the most regarded specialists in the field of Parkinson’s disease and update what is new in the world of Parkinson’s care," she said.
Beginning at 8am, there will be a huge program filled with almost 10 informative presentations.
Tickets cost $75 for health professionals with a discount available for health professional group bookings of 10 people; $10 for all students and; free for those with Parkinson’s disease and their carer(s).
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
The event will be held from 8am to 5pm on Friday November 29 at the GV Hotel, 223 High St, Shepparton.
