Goulburn Valley Health has released its Strategic Plan 2019-23 which will guide the organisation for the next five years.
Launched at a special event at GV Health's Graham Street Campus, the event was attended by members of the board, executive team, general staff and special guests.
GV Health board chairperson Rebecca Woolstencroft said work began on the document in early 2018.
"We wanted it to be a living, working, document," she said.
"And we wanted to take the time to do it right."
The document outlines key pillars that will drive the organisation's work into the future and the ways to improve health and wellbeing in the community.
Ms Woolstencroft highlighted the fact there was a person-centred approach to the plan with a focus on high-quality care.
GV Health chief executive Matt Sharp also addressed attendees at the event and spoke about the organisation's values - CREATE - which stands for compassion, respect, excellence, accountability, team work and ethical behaviour.
He said the CREATE values had been carried over from the previous Strategic Plan and had also been extended, now called CREATE. Outstanding.
"We're not striving to be good or great; we're striving to be outstanding in everything we do," Mr Sharp said.
The Strategic Plan 2019-23 was endorsed by the board and was also approved by the Department of Health in May this year.
