Warm donation for dialysis patients
GV Health patients who have to spend many hours on dialysis may be a little more comfortable from now on, with a local community group presenting them with new hand-made quilts.
Goulburn Valley Quilters has a long tradition of gifting quilts to patients requiring dialysis, with each quilt taking many months to complete. Each patient in the Dialysis Unit is given a quilt to keep and take home, in a tradition that has been running for at least 10 years.
The latest round of quilts was presented by GV Quilters Vice President, Gael Thompson, to Dialysis Unit Manager, Natalie Sheehan, on Wednesday 11 July to assist patients through their treatment in the cold winter months.
GV Health would like to acknowledge GV Quilters for their generous donation.
